About Coach Boaz

I am a boxer, coach, certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and teacher. I created The Body Training Services to give people a place to train with structure, learn real boxing skills, build confidence, and improve at their own pace.

My goal is simple: help people train with clarity, confidence, and consistency.

My Background

I began training seriously in 2019, showing up consistently and spending as much time as possible learning, sparring, and improving. Over time, that commitment led to coaching opportunities, and I began running weekly boxing classes.

Those classes grew steadily and gave me the opportunity to work with people of different ages, backgrounds, and goals. Some people wanted to compete. Others wanted to lose weight, get stronger, learn boxing, or simply feel more confident.

Boxing & Coaching Experience

While coaching, I also competed. From 2021 through 2023, I boxed competitively while completing my undergraduate studies. Balancing training, competition, school, and coaching shaped the way I approach preparation, discipline, and follow-through.

I finished my competitive run with 14 amateur boxing bouts and 8 wins. I also spent two years helping run and coach at a boxing gym, working with both fighters and general members.

That experience taught me how to build consistent training, set clear expectations, and create an environment where people can improve without feeling lost or overwhelmed.

Certifications & Teaching Experience

I hold professional certifications through NASM, including:

Certified Personal Trainer
Nutrition Coach
Corrective Exercise Specialist
Senior Fitness Specialist

These certifications help guide how I work with clients safely and practically, whether they are new to training, returning after time away, or looking to improve their overall fitness.

I have also spent the last two school years teaching in special education, most recently teaching senior high science to students with behavioral challenges. That experience strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, stay patient, adapt to different people, and coach in a way that actually fits the person in front of me.

My Coaching Style

My coaching style is direct, practical, and focused on long-term progress.

You do not need to already be in shape to start. You do not need boxing experience. You do not need to know exactly what you are doing before you walk in.

That is what coaching is for.
